Is There a Loss in Fiction?
As you grow older, you're conscious of the things that youve gained and lost. The great thing about fiction is that it's one place where you can retrieve some of those very things that you've lost person who's not in your life any more. So yes, i think about lost but i also try to think about a kind of compensatory gain. Isn't there somebody's book called real losses, imaginary gains? There should be a book with that title, even if there isn't.
