I think that the large models being built by private institutions are far more dangerous than models in the hands of people used to extending themselves. These are alien things and I do believe that large models should be regulated similar to nuclear weapons because that is dual use technology. There's no such thing as AI artists, but they're not bad at art - it's just a different kind of art. And if we can flip that world, which is awesome, then the world's going to become happier too.
