The Miscalculation of Benjamin Netanyahu
Mr Netanyahu denies the charges and the fact that the case is ongoing has in no way prevented him from returning to the centre of Israeli politics, though it has clearly limited his options. His party and the parties on the far right and the religious parties who support him were not enough until this fifth election which was held in last November. They weren't enough for a majority but now other centrist parties have said we're not going to serve in a government led by a man who's been indicted for bribery and fraud and is currently on trial.
