How Did Lefes Do in the First Two Years?

I was at a very young age trying to manage people that were drug addicts or people who weren't particularly motivated, but maybe they had great talent. So for me, it was always people management. And I take it one meeting at a time and one person at a time. The first two years that we had to label shop learning curve. It was all in the 90s, right? We started the label in 1989. Our first signing was a band called Damien Dame and we gave them our best material and it didn't work. Like it just nobody was, it just fell flat like people weren't buying the records.
