What Are the Primary and Secondary Outcomes of the Study?

The primary outcome might be, how much weight did they lose? So that would be the major gold to study. A secondary outcome for that might be, was that weight that or was that muscle? That's a little bit different and maybe not as important. But you might want to know whether that weight that's coming off is metaboically active lean tissue, or is it the, hopefully atipos tissue in fat tissue? And so the studies, good studies, will tell you, again, this is mostly going to be done in clinical human trials.
