Women Demonstrated in a Different Way
Women at bluegate wanted to be separate as lesbians, so they went to bluegate. In some ways, that became the dominant culture of greenam for a while. As the peace camp grew, relations with the authorities deteriorated. For most of the day it went peacefully, but then women charged the fence and one policeman was injured. About 15 women broke the outer fence and struggled with soldiers. All us Crew's missiles were removed from greenham by 19 91,. By the year two thousand the air base was decommissioned.
