The New System of Party Vying Against Party

When one party has a majority in all three branches, it might be the case that all bets are off. In the end, you have to contend that that's okay because the American people put them in those positions. The great example here is Franklin Roosevelt storms to the presidency with a massive congressional win and before you know it, the Supreme Court flips the Democrats for a big portion of the early part of the 20th century control all three branches. Well, they can do anything they want. And they did, which is why we still talk about FDR as one of the two great presidents of the 20ths century.
