Do You Make Mistakes in Other Languages?
I'm not a particularly shy person, but I have met people who are and I've spoken to them. The fear of making mistakes is something that kicks in from probably around seven when we're at school. As an adult, you have a grammar already in your brain that you can draw on as a reference point. So you're actually in a better situation than children who are learning from the first language because they have no reference point whatsoever.
