The LVO Line, the Surface Area for Gas Exchange
Premature babies have immature lungs and they haven't developed these cells yet. So when they start to breathe, the airways collapse in. And so they essentially will have problems with gas exchange. But I think now there's artificial surfactant that can be sprayed down their airway which could do the job.
