Advocacy Is a Skill to Be Taught, Not an Expectation

Advocacy, as i said in that wheel of life, is a skill to be taught, not an expectation. We need to sometimes get support on ho have our own needs met. So much of this we do behind the kid's back. And parents whenever you're having meeting with the teachers, bring someone who's not emotionally involved. Sometimes just having that third person there can diffuse a lot of things.
