The Daddy's Girl Stereotype

I feel like a lot of Korean families have a pretty conservative outlook on gender stereotypes and stuff. Which I think can be kind of suffocating sometimes for the daughter where it's like you're caging me in like a certain box right when I want to do maybe different things with my life. For me and my dad I never really felt like he was doing that to me specifically because I know he was pretty cognizant of wanting to be more open-minded. But at the same time like when you grow up in an environment like that I think sometimes it's indirectly communicated so I did feel like my dad had certain standards for me that were because she was a girl.
