Kathleen peterson was found dead in a pool of her own blood at the bottom of aircase. The cause of death was blunt force trama to the back of her head, as though she'd been beaten repeatedly with something heavy like a fireplace. Michael peterson's next door neighbor had been following the trial very, very closely. Larry pollard lived on the same street as the petersons and was a good friend.

In 2001, Kathleen Peterson was found dead in her home. Her husband Michael Peterson was convicted of her murder. A curious neighbor, a lawyer named Larry Pollard, had a different theory.
