The Consciousness of the Will

Schopenhauer: The world at its base is something totally unintelligent, the will. And this will is not sentient or conscious in the sense of a god or a personal being. In its essence, the will is blind. It's non rational, or we might even say, pre rational. But it appears as this blind and unconscious striving in the whole of unorganized nature. So gravity exists equally in all objects with mass, or rather ddistributed equally through all mass itself. I e, through the principium individuationss as a picture is multiplied through the facets of a class.
