Is There a Board of Trustees?
All charities have a board of trustees. They're there to insure that the charity is accountable, it manages its resources appropriately and they act with care and skill in order to do it. But how that looks is obviously very different for a tiny organization who has no staff and a massive organization. For me, i was, am a former young trustee and a young chair,. i went through a big process of being like, oh my goodness, i'm on a board. I'm not good enough to be here.
