The Loss of Secularism
I quite like living in a secular state. I think it serves the interests of a multi-faith society pretty well. It requires not looking at the foundations, you know, the kind of ideological underpinnings of secularism too closely. The conceit of secularism is that the secular state is neutral, can be neutral between religions. But it can't because it's inherently biased towards a Christian perspective.
