The Adieu of Mother Theodora and Father Michael
The candidate lays aside her customary habit and clothes herself in the vlachania, a white garment similar to the baptismal robe. As the troparion is sung, the members of the monastery go to the narthex where they form a procession holding lit candles. So i'llbe, i'll be walked in, am, and on either side of me will be mother theodora and you, father michael. O, should be spiritual mother andspiritual father. Well, this isn't really anyway. Som the adieu.
