The rejection rate was higher for the early career researcher, they were a little bit nicer in their responses compared to the anonymous person. But still, at least knowing they were part of an experiment, they can say, this is a real person. So I'm pretty sure that putting the money aside and seeing how that played out as an interactive factor of people's behavior is something that they do in fact understand.
