"I was literally sleeping in a go pin um but one day we we had to dig mortar pits so and again you know like now i look back and like oh we should have known," he said. "We eventually figured it out but it was just at that time combat was so new that everyone was just figuring out what it was for lack of better term" He says the unit were developing their own intel and develop their own targets, which helped them create their own missions.
