The Importance of Clarifying Terms of Engagement in Psychoanalysis
I think there's a danger when we bring the black radical tradition, black feminism, queer theory, trans of color critique into psychoanalysis. I think this use of the word ethics as something that's ostensibly neutral and not itself politicized is incredibly dangerous. And so I think clarifying our terms of engagement is so important.
