What Kind of Advice Does Your Dad Give You?
I think you would have to look, for example, at President Bush 41's national security team and look at the combination of my dad and Brent Scowcroft and Jim Baker. And I do think that there is a level of understanding of the responsibility that comes with these offices and the seriousness of the challenges we face as a country. So he is deeply concerned about what's happened to our party and what's happening in the country. He's great to be able to bounce ideas off of and get historic perspective from as is my mom as well. We're very blessed to have them a phone call away or a Sunday dinner away.
