Editing Your Own Text

i tend to have a strong mental blueprint, but it's only mental by the time i stop writing. What i'm often doing is writing trunks of it, and then is writing big trunks, and then filling in the gaps in between with connective texts. I've done a bunch of editing in the past, and it made me a better writer. The other thing anything teaches you is not to be precious. If you spend enough time removing the stuff that other people think is important, but isn't, you learn to take the same reproach to your olnd writing,.
