i really feel like it's not a great idea to base law on science, because law is hard to change. The legal system and the medical system have no institutional way to speak to each other. We've got 200 prosecution s a year of shaken baby sindrom and the same dudes show up. It like all of them. And they'll say, we know it was her,We know it was severe. We know she was trying to kill this baby,. in the absence of any other evidence. No, they've never met these people. They have no way of knowing if this is what they "re actually trying to do"
