Are We to Repatriate Native American Human Remains?
In 19 89, congress passed a law called for the smithsonian institutions to return native american human remains and artifacts that have been taken. The museum wanted to be sure that the remains were connected to the seminole tribe before they returned them. So in two thousand 11, the seminal tribe requested to meet with bill's team about the remains from florida. But at the time, the museum would not consider handing them over to the tribe.
