Severian Isn't All Bad, Triscoll Is a Good Book

On the surface, this chapter is as close to an idyllic tale about a boy and his dog. This book is going to get right. It's pretty awful. But I do think that is important to note that when people say, well, Severian isn't all bad, Triscoll is one of the places that they point to as justification. You know, it overswings. He's just like he's a human character,. He's got both good and bad moments likeable and unlikable moments. And obviously he tries to hide the unlikable stuff, but right.
