The Importance of Russia's Role in the World War II
I think the one big way, and it depends on whether you view it as inevitable, that the world was going to deviate into these two blocks. So in terms of this triangle, Russia, China, the West, is anything changing there because of this war? Hugely. I mean, I should say that we focus very narrowly on the European theatre and, of course, America as well. We tend to neglect the ways in which this is having a massive impact on the Central Asian stage within the post-Soviet states in Europe, and also on the global south.
