Anti-Intellectualism in the Church

LZ Granderson: It's interesting to me in a church culture that vilifies fear and we've had whole episodes about that, right? How many seem to prefer a fearful view of not just the world, but even like you mentioned, your friend is afraid to even read things. LZ: As an adult, I've been able to cast out the ideas that don't really serve me anymore and try to move on from them. And when they do crop up, I try to work through them and get rid of them.
