The Continental Philosophy of Hegel

With the exception of Husserl, it's hard to find figures in the continental traditions in philosophy. They do tend to have a much stronger historical orientation. The exception again is German materialism in the 1840s and 50s which is sort of much like scientism that we associate with strands of contemporary anglophone philosophy.
