Can You Outrun a Flashlight?

There might be some instances where i can actually outrun light. This is not just a silly physics thought experiment, this is really important. It has to do with idea that space is not actually flat or constant and kind of abhorring. Most importantly, our universe is expanding. The accelerating expansion of the universe creates new space between our galaxy and other galaxies - it's like stretching the fabric of the universe itself.
