Are Renewables a Good Idea?

The biggest obstacle I've heard that we have is storage. We're talking about somewhere around four to six percent of that two and a half percent is actual battery storage, like lithium ion batteries. There's pumped hydropower, compressed air, energy storage, thermal energy storage. But from what I learned when I looked into it, the main issue is that we were just so far behind the eight ball. It feels insurmountable. And I don't feel like it's impossible but we've got a road ahead of us"
