AV companies have talked about surveying people that don't necessarily use a wheelchair, but do have disabilities on their way as visual and things like that. But those communities are also served by Uber, Lyft, public transit, and paratransit. A human-driven Uber or Lyft can tell the visual and impaired occupant, hey, the street is closed. You're now at the corner of a second to nine. Or would it be better for me to take you someplace else?
