meditation itself, especially when you're just on the breath and it's nothing fancier than that, feels minimalistic. And the lack of content makes you feel somehow like superficially, like you're really getting to the core thing. Playing the piano feels superficial comparatively, playing chess, it's like, well these are constructed games,. Whereas just the nature of meditation, breath, body calming down, I think just has this aesthetic of you're getting to something really spiritually significant.
