How to Write a Story About a Miss Marple
It was quite a rigorous process working with the Agatha Christie estate. They said it would be lovely if at all possible, if there was a gardening theme. I wanted her to be living a life that had been hinted at in the original novels and short stories. So I found the inspirations for my story from bits of biographical information contained entirely within the novels or the short stories. It's not so much a who-done-it, as a how- done-it.
