The Differences Between Volunteer and Operational Search and Rescue

In Austria, there's a long apprenticeship really before you actually get to kind of go out there and be doing it for real. So we have a lot of volunteer organizations where you can just join. Depending on the organization, you don't just work the dogs, but you also get some training in advanced first aid or if you're trying to fabricate you. But I think it's quite similar actually.
