The conspiratulist is trying to find that masturbatory relief of confirmation bias. A period of uncertainty and lack of resolution around what they're actually looking at is resolved by an anon baker saying, this is what it means. And then suddenly that feeling of, I didn't quite understand this creepy thing that I was looking at might feel really, really good. But we do not get to have that pleasure because our resolution is shit in 18 different ways.
