How Did Larry and Sergey Leak Gmail?

On the day that Gmail launched, no one including myself had an account. Initially some people weren't even sure if it was a real thing because we launched on April 1st with sort of implausibly good specs. So eventually we got around once day two or three, we finally invite reporters. People get to try out the product. And so then I sent an invite to myself and then my personal email account is like the second ever Gmail account  and then that worked. So then I invited like the rest of the team and the remainder of the company. It wasn't someone I know.
