The Strategic Petroleum Reserve Is a Strategic Oil Sword

Before my time, but I'm sure many of your listeners, your gas lines and even the odd numbers on your license plates, it was a major energy crisis. It was largely brought about by those two uses of what they call the oil sword. And so what did the West do? They developed a fairly elegant solution. One is fairly ironic. The reason I say that there's an irony there is that no one has done more than the IEA to really screw up the world's oil markets in the last five years because they've been calling for this surplus.
