The Colors on the Venezuelan Flag

The colors on the venezuelan flag are yellow, blue and red. It's very similar to the flags of columbia and ecuador. An eighth star symbolizes another province called esicibo which is actually in neighbouring gaiana. The country has long standing, unresolved claim to that land so they're saying it belongs to them,. That's why they put the extra starr on the flag.
