Genetic Engineering Is Not Going to Get You the Future You Believe In

Genetic engineering has been around for 20 years. It's a manual guess and check a print, because we don't know really what gene how genes arise to traits. We have no way to actually sit down and write a CG C and get more protein or a new drug. The idea is we offload a lot of the labor that's normally achieved by hundreds of PhD scientists and robots. And it does it for free. All we need to do is put a steering wheel on it. That's obviously evolution.
