Navigating the Complexities of Regulating AI Development and Educating Policymakers

They discuss the need for regulatory regimes to address the different types of AI technologies in use today including facial recognition, lending and insurance decision-making, healthcare tracking, and genetic sequencing, among other applications.  They also discuss the different approaches to AI regulation in the US and the EU, and whether regulation should be all-encompassing or targeted to specific technological contexts.
