Decompression Sickness in Saturation Diving

Saturation diving can be debilitating and deadly. Divers breathe in a gas cocktail known as helioc mixture which contains helium. If left unchecked, gases that were dissolved in the tissue of the divers body begin to form life threatening bubbles. This blood vessel blockage causes pain and, in the worst cases, death. Another thing divers can experience is something called nitro narcosis, which can cause an alteration in consciousness. It's usually not harmful in and of itself, but slowed mental activity, giddiness and overconfidence can lead to divers disregarding safe diving practicest how do you measure narcosis?
