I think the point that you might be alluding to is that food, money, energy are the most basic necessities. Everything else is a derivative. But I also think that those goods are most tied to hard labor. It requires not only a lot of technology, but a lot of the great to produce oil. And people that produce real hard value tend to get that faster in my experience than finance professionals.
