The Importance of Zitewenden in German Politics
The term Zitewenden was used by Chancellor Schoetz on the day of the invasion of Russia into Ukraine in a parliamentary speech. He meant to say something fundamentally has changed for German politics because of Russian aggressive revisionism. The initial idea was really one of security policy, but now that kind of moved into something else.
