Magnolia: A Three Hour Film
I was on holiday with my parents and they were mining their own business. I watched Magnolia in my bedroom on my laptop, and it blew my mind. It's one of the only films that from start to finish makes me go numb. When I went to see it at the Prince Charles in 2019, everyone was chatting about it afterwards. The moment when William H Macy's character Donnie Smith goes through a whole bunch of romantic things just throws me off every time. My favourite line is: 'There's no pretense... God does love you'
