Is Racism a Part of the Social Meaning of Race?

Racialization has racism built into it. The racialized other is inferior in a very basic sense. One can protest bat the social meaning of race is hierarchical. But that's just how it is. And wh can push back? I don't think so at all. If we look historically, race, the idea of race, has the function, in the sense of purpose, of oppression.
