The Role of the Feeder in the Skills Test Model
There is a degree of variability, I suppose, but it's still pretty close in the sense of you're going to hit the same shot over and over again. The tests are rally straight, forehand cross, backhand cross, volley, overhead, lob, overhead, forehand attack, second serve, defense, second serve attack, return, defense, return attack. And there's an international, national, regional, county and club norm for each of those and for each age from under 11 still under 14s. So is it very much based on a skills test model? There's some conjecture to where this model came from.
