Insulin Resistance and Diabetes

There are enough reasons to suggest that pollutants can drive insulin resistance. The pancreas, which produces insulin is thyroid dependent and also has various signaling attributes which could be thyroid hormone dependent. High levels of fatty acids in the diet can throw T4 off its carrier molecule. And the same way that estrogen can do that as well. So you can have high estrogen and an accumulation of endocrine disruptors or hormone disruptors these pollutants coupled with a relatively normal diet, and people then go, Oh, it's all the carbs you're eating that are causing that are beating carbs. But sometimes we're just working on a symptom rather than the actual true dysfunction that's going on.
