Grit is a really interesting case because it it, according to some critics of grit, which is angela duckworth's idea of perseverance and passion for long term goals. And i don't think there's a lot of evidence to support that. There's not much evidence to think that conscientiousness and grit are more important, at the level of correlations than intelligent for who does well in school. It catches on...more because it tells a story wo want to here, than because the evidence is particularly good, right?
