What Do You Think the Fed Will Do?
The next Fed meeting is November 2nd, a week before the midterms. If there is a trial balloon floated towards the end of this month that the Fed may go 50 basis points, if you look at the CME Fed Fund's futures tracker, it is going to come way back in towards a 50 basis point hike. So where could the S&P be headed as we move into the final quarter of 2022? The chart master re-upping his message from April, expect some red arrows from here.
