Is China Really a Better Place to Make Advance Ships?

I think you write that the war has been a disaster for Russia. And I hope the Chinese see it that way as well. But I'm not sure that they're looking at the failures of the Russian military and assuming that their military would perform just as badly. The deal in China, since I was a child, was you don't get to play in politics. You're going to put up with a lot of repression in exchange. We're going to make you wealthy. Oh, my gosh. That deal goes away overnight when that happens.
