The Six-Edition Rules: Pre-Combat Main Phase

Before six-edition rules, combat was a substep of the main phase. We then named them pre-combat main phase and post-combat mainPhase. You're starting to see more effects happen in pre-combat rather than happening at upkeep for things that are just once-of-turn effects. And we don't trigger on the draw step a lot anymore.
